Job Description
At our Big Bird Nursery we are now seeking a Nursery Manager to oversee the day to day running of the busy nursery, supporting the team. This is initially a 12 month maternity post, working 38 hours a week salary is c£42k plus great benefits, good transport links and onsite parking.
The Big Bird Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, a 79 place setting located at the heart of the Whitburn community, led by a passionate and caring team, the nursery is filled with natural resources to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Requirements
As a Nursery Manager you will:
Have a minimum Level 3 qualification or Equivalent in Early Years / Childcare
Have at least 3 years' previous experience of working in a Day Nursery
Have at least 2 years' experience of leading and supporting teams
Can inspire, energise and support others
Has a genuine passion and excitement to work with children and helping others learn
Sound knowledge of the latest Curriculum for Excellence framework and regulations
A firm knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and requirements
