Who You Are You are a dedicated Specialist Housing Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council. You have experience in triage and strength-based assessment needs for people with disabilities, as well as in recommending and using equipment and adaptations. You excel in managing diverse workloads and have experience in working collaboratively with people and their carers, with a focus on promoting independent living and improving quality of life. What the Job Involves In this role, you will work within the framework of the Care Act 2014, completing strength-based assessments and promoting independent living. You will recommend, demonstrate, and organize equipment and adaptations, liaising with professionals and stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery. You are responsible for managing a diverse caseload, developing Occupational Therapy Assistants and students, and exploring funding options. The role also involves a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the Council Plans objectives.
