Marketing Manager
£45,000 per annum plus Benefits
Job purpose
The Marketing Manager role plays a key role in activating the Ambala brand at a local level. You will lead the marketing support for new store openings, help roll out national and regional campaigns in-store, drive local footfall through targeted activities, and support franchisees with tools and ideas to boost sales. You’ll also play a strategic role in managing and growing brand partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities
New Store Openings
* Plan and execute local marketing campaigns for new store launches
* Develop and manage opening week promotional activity and community engagement
* Coordinate with franchisees, store teams, and creative agencies for launch collateral
* Track and report on store opening performance and footfall impact
Campaign Execution
* Support rollout of national and seasonal campaigns at store level
* Ensure consistency of brand messaging and in-store experience
* Deliver toolkits, POS and digital assets for local use
* Monitor store compliance and gather campaign feedback
Brand Partnerships & Activations
* Identify and manage local and national brand partnerships (e.g. influencers, events, cross‑promotions)
* Explore opportunities to partner with complementary businesses or community organisations
* Support the creation and activation of co‑branded campaigns
Franchisee Sales Support
* Work closely with franchisees to understand local challenges and opportunities
* Provide marketing advice, best practice ideas, and ongoing support
* Develop sales‑driving initiatives tailored to regional needs
* Host sessions to upskill franchisees on local marketing
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in a field or retail marketing role
* Strong understanding of local marketing, brand activations, and store operations
* Experience working in a multi‑site retail, franchise or QSR environment
* Comfortable travelling regularly across the UK (driver’s licence required)
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management
* Commercial mindset with a focus on results and ROI
* Experience in Food and Beverage.
