CLASS 1 ADR DRIVER
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday, start times between 4:00am – 7:00am
Rates of Pay:
£19.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Carry out RDC work (curtain-side, no handball required)
• Operate and drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category CE Licence
• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles
• Valid ADR qualification
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided:
• Driver's assessment must be completed before starting
• One-day paid induction following successful assessment
