Role Overview
This role is for Harris Bus & Coach; itself a leading provider of innovative passenger mobility solutions across the UK and Ireland, specialising in HIGER city buses and coaches. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketer to join our team in a Brand Marketing Manager role.
You will play a pivotal part in shaping marketing strategies for the HIGER brand in the UK and Ireland markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing campaigns that enhance brand and product awareness, support the sales teams in UK and Ireland, and engage our target audiences. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our business goals and messaging. This role will expand in the near future with the addition of other commercial vehicle brands / products to the Harris Group portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive and segmented marketing strategies for HIGER city buses and coaches, focusing on brand positioning and market penetration.
• Work with our Head of Communications and Lead Creative to bring engaging marketing campaigns to life.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and challenges within the passenger transport sector.
• Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including digital, print and social media.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional materials and sales support tools.
• Manage and optimise marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective campaigns.
• Analyse campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, agencies and industry influencers.
• Represent Harris Bus & Coach at industry events and exhibitions.
Key skill requirements:
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive, preferably within the bus and coach sector or alternatively the commercial vehicle / automotive sectors.
• Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns that drive brand growth.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and travel as required.
