As an Assistant Buyer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic range of products, developing strategies to enhance sales and profitability while understanding the needs and preferences of our customers. With previous buying experience and a passion for product, this role offers a platform to showcase analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and commercial acumen.
Responsibilities
* Based in our London office at least 2 days per week
* Previous experience of working with a Commercial space
* Strong analytical & numerical skills
* Excellent admin and organisational ability, computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word
* Contribute to the development of the 3-6 month promotional strategy for your category
* Ensure accuracy in pricing across all channels
* Optimise the product range, considering the in-store experience and its impact on customers and store colleagues
* Collaborate with the Product Development (PD) team and global sourcing to set quality criteria for own label products
* Work in a fast-paced environment with UK suppliers and manage administrative duties and sample management
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in buying or related commercial roles
* Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
