Job Title: Business Development Manager – North London, Oxford, Cambridge, Home Counties.
Department: External Sales.
Reporting to: Sales Controller -South.
Salary: According to experience.
Bonus: Performance related bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed company car and profit share bonus.
Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager plays an important role in driving sales of premium desserts and ice cream in the hospitality sector. The main purpose is to grow the independent business in North London, Oxford, Cambridge and Home Counties areas of England. focusing on hospitality, including hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities and sporting venues.
Principal Responsibilities:
* To increase the sales in your designated area by bringing new business to the Company.
* To grow and develop the existing customer base, by introducing them to our full range of products.
* Introduce premium ice cream to our existing customers.
* Following up on leads given from the internal team.
* Manage the relationship with the customer to ensure all opportunities and queries are managed to retain the customers long term loyalty.
The Applicant:
* Candidates must be self-motivated and have good organisational skills.
* The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
* Be passionate and interested in food.
* Ideally experienced in selling to the food industry.
* The candidate will live in the North London.
* Commercially minded chefs will also be considered for this role.
Job Type: Full-time – Monday – Friday
Salary: Depending on experience.

Experience:
* Selling to the foodservice industry: 2 years (preferred)
