MPLC are the legal way to show movies and TV in public or commercial spaces across the globe. Our business has been running for 30 years and we are the number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We work with every major Hollywood studio and hundreds of independents, and we work hard to educate organisations about the importance of respecting copyright. MPLC is a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.
Our aim is to allow companies to use great movie and programming content while ensuring that content creators get paid fairly for their work.
We are on a truly exciting journey as a company. We’re growing quickly, investing in our teams, and we have bold plans to make 2025 our best year ever. As part of our growth we are hiring for an Executive Administrator.
The job in two bullet points:
* Assist the executive team with administrative tasks including diary management, travel booking, and expenses.
* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure information is shared accurately.
If you need a bit more information…
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail focused individual with previous experience in a similar role to join MPLC as an Executive Administrator. This role is going to require you to be proactive and have excellent communication skills as you organise schedules for our executive team across the globe and facilitate communication between them and other departments.
You’ll need to be able to correctly prioritise tasks when you are busy and ensure nothing is missed with responsibilities including organising meetings, managing diaries, and providing administrative support including assisting with expenses, and preparing documents.
You'll love this role if...
You’re very organised and detail oriented! This role is going to require someone who doesn’t mind being granular about the details, in fact it’s a must! MPLC is a global company, working in the UK, US, across Europe and Asia and that means lots of time zones to be mindful of when booking and scheduling, especially as some members of the team are travelling a lot.
You love communicating with people! As well as requiring constant communication with members of the executive team, you’ll need to facilitate communication with the rest of the company too, making sure information is delivered quickly and efficiently but ensuring sensitive details are kept on a need-to-know basis.
You know how to prioritise! There will be a lot of competing priorities in this role and quickly getting to grips with what needs to be done first is a must. You’ll need to keep your eye on the ball to make sure no responsibilities are missed or delayed and be as efficient as possible to get through tasks quickly.
Let's be honest!
At MPLC we are passionate about what we do and every single role we hire for contributes to our growth as a business. We’re not content with standing still, we constantly want to be bettering ourselves and doing things differently, and we want that from the people we hire as well.
This role is going to require a lot of attention to detail and organisation, we’re relying on you to juggle a lot of competing priorities! This also role requires working with people across the globe and as such some flexibility may be required on working hours.
