As we continue to grow and help more people 'live their best life, by making smarter Financial decisions', we're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Financial Administrator to support our Technical/Paraplanner Team with research, new business processing and high-quality planning documentation.

The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our Technical/Paraplanner Team, ensuring that new business is prepared accurately, research is thorough and documentation is produced to a high professional and compliant standard.
You'll help ensure cases progress efficiently from preparation through to completion, while maintaining excellent attention to detail at every stage.
This role combines administration, research, analysis and technical writing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both operational accuracy and analytical work.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Preparation & Processing
* Prepare new business quotes and paperwork using our preferred platforms
* Compile and issue all documentation for new business submissions (post, electronic or meeting packs)
* Prepare supporting correspondence including emails, letters and instructions
* Accurately process applications on platforms, ensuring all data is checked and compliant
* Maintain complete and accurate business files and registers
* Liaise with providers, Advisers, clients and internal teams to support cases through to completion
Planning & Product Research
* Use tools such as FE Analytics to support report production and fund analysis
* Conduct Pension, Investment and product research to support Adviser recommendations
* Compile fund performance comparisons and analysis to inform planning decisions
Product Comparison Tables & Reports
* Gather and analyse technical research to support Advice recommendations
* Produce clear product comparison tables and supporting documentation
* Draft Pension switch reports and discussion documents for Adviser use
* Present research findings in a structured, professional and client-ready format
Suitability Letter Writing
* Draft suitability letters for Pension transfers and additional transfers to existing plans
* Support multi-sale Advice recommendations through clear written documentation
* Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear and aligned with regulatory requirements
Policy & Plan Maintenance
* Assist with client withdrawals and income requests
* Support ongoing maintenance of existing plans and provider interactions
* Help ensure all policy records and documentation remain accurate and up to date
Team & Process Support
* Assist with client and platform queries
* Support the Technical Team Manager with workflow and case progression
* Help review and improve internal processes and team ways of working
* Contribute to training and development of other team members where appropriate
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and takes real pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
You might already be working in Financial services, or looking to build a long-term career within Financial Planning.
Ideally, you will:
* Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Enjoy research, analysis and producing clear written documentation
* Be comfortable working with platforms, data and Financial Planning tools
* Have strong written communication skills
* Have an interest in Pensions, Investments and Financial Planning (experience is helpful but not essential)
* Be committed to continuous professional development and learning

Salary & Benefits
* Salary from £28,000 depending on experience
* Ongoing training and development - £1,000 Annual Training Budget
* Pension - Employer Contribution 4%
* 23 Days Annual Leave, Plus 8 Bank Holidays and 3-5 Days during the Christmas Break
