We’re looking for a Civil Engineer with a growing track record in water, drainage, and infrastructure design. What You Can Bring
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with relevant experience in drainage or water infrastructure.
* Familiarity with industry standards, BIM and design tools such as Causeway Flow, InfoWorks ICM, Civil 3D or MicroStation.
* A good and increasing commercial awareness to support our work-winning activities nationally and internationally.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams, and engage with clients and stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to learning and development, ideally working towards Incorporated or Chartered status with the ICE or CIWEM; willingness to mentor junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the design of drainage, wastewater, and surface water management systems across a range of infrastructure and development projects.
* Prepare and check technical reports, drawings, and specifications in line with current standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on major UK infrastructure programmes such as Sizewell C, Lower Thames Crossing, our national Rail portfolio, and initiatives to reduce Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) discharges.
* Contribute to integrated water management strategies that prioritise climate resilience, sustainability, and community protection in the UK and internationally.
* Apply experience of digital tools and data-driven approaches to enhance design efficiency and project outcomes.
* Support socially impactful initiatives like EDAROTH, delivering sustainable infrastructure and housing for underserved communities.
