TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading UK engineering surveying consultancy, part of a wider infrastructure group, to recruit Surveyors for their regional office in Glasgow.
Our client is a national engineering surveying business delivering topographical, measured building, underground utility, monitoring and site engineering surveys across a network of ten UK offices. Their teams support major construction and infrastructure projects, providing the engineering certainty required to deliver complex schemes safely and efficiently.
As a Surveyor, you will work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams delivering topographical and measured building surveys across a wide variety of sites and sectors. The role combines site-based data capture, office-based processing, and supporting the development of junior team members.

Deliver topographical and measured building surveys of varying size and complexity to a high standard
Take the lead on large and complex projects, coordinating multiple survey teams
Provide clear technical guidance and instructions to team members
Process multi-dataset survey information, including topographical and building data
Maintain survey instrumentation and equipment to required standards
Carry out site inspections and dynamic risk assessments
Ensure delivery meets health, safety, quality and programme requirements
Support the development of trainee, junior and technician-level surveyorsThe Ideal Candidate
3+ years’ experience in land, topographical or measured building surveying
Proven ability to deliver topographical surveys independently
Experience with measured building surveys using laser scanners and/or traditional methods
Strong data processing and CAD skills
Professional and confident communicator
Strong health & safety awareness
Motivated to develop a long-term career within a growing surveying businessQualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 GCSEs, including Maths & English (Grade C / 4 or above)
Full UK driving licence
