About The Team
Our Social Sector Audit team serves charities, educational institutions and housing organisations, delivering specialist audits that go beyond compliance to support long-term impact and governance.
What You'll Do
* Lead audits for social-sector clients, taking ownership of engagements for charities, education providers and housing organisations.
* Deliver accurate, compliant, high-quality work.
* Build strong client relationships, acting as key contact to resolve queries promptly and ensure billing runs smoothly.
* Oversee audit delivery to agreed timescales, ensuring standards and quality expectations are consistently met.
* Mentor and support audit assistants and seniors, reviewing work, giving feedback and guiding them through fieldwork.
What You'll Bring
* Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CA or equivalent).
* Experience auditing charities, schools, universities and housing providers.
* Leadership experience – ability to supervise and coach junior staff on external audits.
* Technical knowledge – strong understanding of SORP, UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS and governance frameworks.
* Stakeholder engagement – competent in managing client communications and ensuring the delivery of timely audit services.
