Job Summary
Geosense, a leading manufacturer of geotechnical sensors, is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Inside Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. This role is key to lead the inside sales department and ensure the smooth the running of the sales process from enquiry through to delivery. To maximise commercial opportunity by managing process and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely sales/support service to our clients. This role will aid in developing the team and processes to best support our clients and contribute to success.
Responsibilities
* Lead, inspire and motivate the Inside Sales/Support team to provide best in industry service by meeting quality & productivity standards, fostering development and a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
* Ensure that quotes, orders, and deliveries are delivered efficiently and correctly, following internal processes.
* Manage existing clients and develop customer relations to maximise commercial opportunity.
* Identify risks, customer concerns, or potential issues and collaborate with other departments to address them proactively. Escalating when necessary.
* Identify opportunities and develop strategy on how to maximise revenue/margin.
* Manage internal CRM (Salesforce)
* Develop and implement process improvements to ensure the smooth running of the sales function.
* Work with the Sales Director to help steer commercial strategy for the business.
Requirements
* Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within a similar industry or environment.
* CRM/Salesforce administration experience
* A good academic record
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure
* Clear communicator – verbal and written
* Resourceful; practical approach to problem solving
* Good knowledge of the products
* An understanding of customers
* Commercial awareness
