Adaptable Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a thriving organisation based in Maghull, who are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to support their finance function.
What you'll be doing:
As part of a small but growing finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities will be varied and include:
Managing daily transaction processing including raising and inputting purchase and sales invoices
Carrying out bank reconciliations, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate
Monitoring outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
Assisting with month end duties, including balance sheet reconciliations and ledger reviews
Answering internal and external queries relating to accounts and payments
Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a proactive individual with solid experience in transactional finance who is confident juggling multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will bring:
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role (essential)
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond professionally to queries
?Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
