Mental Health Youth Worker – Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people?
We are seeking practitioners to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across schools in Bristol. These opportunities are full-time, with an option of progressing onto contract at the school.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to pupils with mental health needs, both in the classroom and through activities outside the classroom, in collaboration with the class teacher.
* Help ensure the right support is in place for students and contribute to developing their social and emotional relationships.
* Attend and participate in activities and interventions as directed, including required training and safeguarding measures.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils in school or similar settings is desirable; consideration will also be given to candidates without prior experience.
* Willingness to undertake additional training while in role, including prevent, Team Teach, and safeguarding training.
* Available for full-time work; potential progression onto a contract at the school.
