An established and growing accountancy practice in Loughton is looking to appoint an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Client Manager to support a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. This role is ideal for a qualified or finalist-level accountant looking to move into a client-facing role with excellent development prospects.

Role Responsibilities
* Support the management of a diverse portfolio of limited companies, SMEs, and owner-managed businesses
* Assist with the preparation and review of year-end accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations
* Act as a point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
* Liaise with clients to request records and provide clear guidance on compliance and filing deadlines
* Work closely with senior team members and partners to deliver a seamless client experience
* Help supervise and support junior team members, reviewing work and sharing knowledge
* Contribute to ad hoc projects and assist in the delivery of advisory services when needed

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist-level with strong practical experience in a UK practice
* Solid understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and bookkeeping principles
* Previous experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax computations
* Comfortable interacting with clients and working independently where needed
* Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail
* A proactive attitude and willingness to support both colleagues and clients
