Production Operative
Location - Mells, Somerset
Starting Salary ranges from £29,418 to £34,881 + Benefits (Salary rises annually, based upon experience).
Shift Patterns are 6:00am to 2:00pm & 2:00pm to 10:00pm (with a 10% shift allowance paid for working up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no weekend work unless required, at which point a time and a half overtime rate is paid).
As a result of our continued success and position as the UK's market leader in our industry, we are recruiting for Production Operatives with experience in manufacturing to join us at our site in Mells, Somerset (BA11 3PD).
Full induction and training will be given to successful applicants.
What is the mission?
You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties related to the efficient production of high-quality concrete drainage and associated products. You will be trained in and required to use a range of hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. You will work in an environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are key to yours and the company's ongoing success.
You will work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays (until 2:00pm) with overtime rates applied and paid.
Flexibility on shift patterns and overtime work will be rewarded, as this site is key to the success of our business, with an ever-growing customer demand and production targets to match.
After 12 months of service and your successful transition to level 2, you will be rewarded with an increased basic salary, including shift allowance, plus incentives and benefits.

* Ideally have previous experience or understanding of working within a manufacturing production environment.

* Current FLT license (desirable but not essential) - lapsed tickets can and will be renewed for successful applicants.
