Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant to join a respected engineering company in Burton-on-Trent.
The successful candidate will support the finance department with daily tasks, including:
1. Managing purchase and sales ledger activities
2. Overseeing account management processes
3. Assisting with payroll administration

Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour (£25,000 annually)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically around 08:00-16:30. Flexibility for school hours is available.

Experience & Qualifications
Applicants should have:
* Own transport, due to location and shift timings
* At least one year of experience in an accounts or finance role
* Strong IT skills and confidence with financial or payroll systems
* Professional and courteous telephone manner
