Claims Service Manager Salary: National - £35,000 - £45,000 / London - circa £55,000 - depending on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Commercial Claims division for someone excited to support the development and delivery of the operating plan for the unit, within overall department strategy, guidelines and Aviva Brand Values The successful candidate will be confident in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to identify opportunities for service improvement and ensure commercial viability and customer satisfaction. Due to regular client site visits, this position will require the ability and flexibility to travel as and when required. A bit about the job: The Claims Service Manager will use their professional expertise to provide customer support services for Commercial claims, which includes working closely with internal stakeholders in the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing business through enhanced claims services. The position holder will actively pursue opportunities to improve the efficiency of customer and administration processes and procedures in order to assist the Commercial business in achieving its targets, whilst promoting and supporting the GCS claims propositions. You will support the development, implementation and on-going management of relationships with external suppliers, partners or contractors and ensure standards are communicated and implemented in order to maintain service levels, efficiencies and targets. The successful candidate will support projects aimed at system or process improvement in order to drive continuous improvement of services and engage others through the Aviva Brand Values and standards, as well as the development, implementation and on-going management of market leading sourcing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained. You will act as a role model, coaching and mentoring colleagues where appropriate. Skills and experience we're looking for: Experience of working within commercial claims is essential, ideally at leader level, understanding your client's business and managing long term relationships with large corporate clients and brokers. Identifying claims trends and working with clients and brokers to deliver improved claims experiences. Successful participation in new business propositions and onboarding new clients. Being able to work remotely as part of a national team and manage stakeholder relationships. ACII certificate or relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
