Automotive VDA / Estimator Required in Southampton, Hampshire
1. Basic Salary from £49,140.00 per year (equivalent to £21 per hour)
2. OTE: £62,000 per year (including bonuses and overtime)
3. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Our client, a trusted and values-driven automotive collision repair centre in Southampton, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator to join their busy team. Duties of a VDA / Estimator with our Client:
13. Conduct thorough physical and desktop inspections of damaged vehicles
14. Compile accurate repair estimates and submit to insurance companies
15. Carry out audits to ensure safe and recorded repair methodologies
16. Produce job cards for workshop staff and support the estimating department
17. Liaise effectively with insurance companies, engineers, and policyholders
18. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
19. Use Audatex or similar software to prepare accurate estimates
What our client expects of their VDA / Estimator:
20. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
21. Knowledge of accident damage assessment and repair estimating processes
22. Proficiency with Audatex or comparable estimating software
23. Strong communication and customer service skills
24. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
25. Previous experience working in a bodyshop or collision repair environment is preferred
Other requirements:
26. Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
27. A positive team attitude with a strong work ethic
28. Willingness to work full-time hours Monday to Friday
