We are recruiting for a Fleet & Procurement Manager to join a growing infrastructure business on a fixed-term basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the effective management of fleet operations and procurement activities, driving efficiency, compliance, and value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
Oversee the day-to-day management of the company fleet, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and operational standards
Manage servicing, maintenance, and fleet performance
Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Procurement & Contracts
Procure goods and services in line with business needs and budget requirements
Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring performance and value
Lead negotiations to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies
Support contract management across key business areas
Operations & Leadership
Plan workloads effectively, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
Use data and reporting to inform decisions and improve performance
Manage, support, and motivate a team to deliver high standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience procuring goods and services and managing contracts
Strong ability to plan workloads, prioritise effectively, and use data to drive decisions
Experience managing fleet operations, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
Demonstrated experience managing, supporting, and motivating a team
Strong background in large-scale construction, civils, or infrastructure projects
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
