Location and Compensation

Windsor, England, SL4, United Kingdom.

Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent.

Shifts: Any five days out of seven.

Assistant General Manager – Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the Benugo team at the Windsor Castle café, located within one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks. The café offers freshly prepared, seasonal food and excellent coffee.


Responsibilities

* Oversee the operational function of the location, providing direction and structure to the team and ensuring high product and service standards.
* Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings, problem solving and forward planning.
* Ensure the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard from front and back of house.
* Continuously improve sales and service.
* Manage financial and budgetary functions, including forecasting, cost control and forward planning.
* Support and manage team performance through ongoing evaluations, listening, training, and mentoring.
* Maintain high levels of food safety and health & safety at all times.


The Ideal Candidate

* Experience working in a public‑space environment.
* Experience in high‑volume and multi‑site operations is highly desirable.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire.
* Strong financial and commercial awareness to ensure continued site success.
* Passion for food.
