Overview:
A leading commercial real estate business, is seeking a talented and experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the month-end processes, business partnering with key departments, and contributing to the financial success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Management:
1. Handle month-end processes for the head office, specifically focusing on overheads.
2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision-making.
Business Partnering:
3. Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Finance, and IT, to understand and support their financial needs.
4. Provide financial guidance to aid in strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.
Financial Reporting:
5. Consolidate monthly board packs, presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Prepare quarterly forecasts and monthly budgets to assist in planning and resource allocation.
Management Reporting:
7. Generate and analyse management reports to assess financial performance against key metrics.
8. Contribute insights and recommendations to drive business improvements.
Group VAT:
9. Oversee group VAT compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
Variance Analysis:
10. Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
11. Provide explanations for budget variances to aid in decision-making.
Experience with Business Central:
12. While not essential, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desired.
Qualifications:
13. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
Location and Working Arrangements:
Central London.
Three days a week in the office is required.
Benefits:
14. Competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
15. 20% annual bonus.
16. 5% employee contribution.
