We are working with a well-established and growing business in Middlesbrough to recruit an ambitious Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with up to a years experience to gain practical finance experience whilst studying for a fully funded AAT qualification.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
* Support month-end and year-end tasks
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Provide cover for the Accountant when needed
About You
* Some prior experience in accounts or finance administration is desirable
* Knowledge of Sage is a plus but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Training & Development
* Fully funded AAT study support
* Hands‑on experience across all areas of accounts
