We are currently looking for a Punjabi speaking volunteer befriender to meet up regularly with one of our residents at our service in Bromley, if you have a couple of hours to spare and can commit to volunteering on a regular basis, we'd love to hear from you. Are you a warm and chatty person, who's also a good listener? As a befriender, you will provide companionship to our resident by meeting together regularly for a cup of tea and chat. We ask that you are able to communicate confidently in Punjabi in order to engage in conversations together. Our resident also enjoys knitting and taking part in arts activities, we are looking for a volunteer who also enjoys knitting and crafts and will be able to spend time with our resident As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer support network group on Zoom. ??????? ???????
