and our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Health Visitor who shares our commitment to improving health outcomes for children and families in Sutton. You’ll work closely with the Head of Service to deliver the strategic vision for children’s services, fostering collaboration between Health and Local Authority partners to achieve the best results.

You will bring a strong commitment to empowering families, enabling them to take responsibility for their health through education, support, and community-based care. Your practice will be guided by the four principles of health visiting:

1. Searching for health needs
2. Raising health awareness
3. Influencing health-related policies
4. Facilitating health-enhancing activities

What You’ll Do

5. Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to Sutton’s families with a focus on quality and impact.
6. Identify health needs early and provide tailored interventions to help children reach their full potential.
7. Ensure vulnerable children are supported with timely, effective care and interventions.

We’re seeking a compassionate, adaptable professional who thrives in collaborative environments, values evidence-based practice, and is eager to make a meaningful difference in the community.
