We are recruiting for a high performing Trading Manager to help our business continue to grow and succeed.
Making sure our stores are fully stocked is key to a fantastic customer experience, which is why this role is so vital to our success. The Trading Manager's responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the best availability and standards across all departments for our customers, while maintaining legal and safety compliance.
2. Leading the team to the highest standards and striving to provide the best shopping experience.
3. Planning and organizing current promotions and in-store events.
4. Listening to customer feedback and reacting accordingly.
5. Ensuring market-leading product availability across the store.
6. Collaborating with other managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department.
7. Managing all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development.
8. Delivering training to empower the team to perform confidently.
9. Motivating colleagues and developing talent within the department.
10. Building effective relationships with other departments.
11. Leading colleagues to achieve outstanding performance against targets.
12. Taking a leadership role within the store.
13. Planning resources thoroughly.
