Senior Architectural Technologist / Technician – ESA Architecture
Join WSP in the UK & Ireland. We’re looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist / Technician to be part of our expanding Architectural team at ESA Architecture.
Job Description
At WSP, you will contribute to landmark projects and collaborate with the brightest minds in your field. This role requires you to realize preliminary designs into buildable solutions, coordinate detailed information across disciplines, and serve as the first point of contact to the site delivery team.
A Little More About Your Role
You will provide technical design support, lead and manage project teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, oversee package procurement and programming, review sub‑contractor information, attend Design Team and Coordination Meetings, support contractors during build, and report status to management.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide strong technical design support to project teams and deliver successful projects in line with client requirements.
* Lead and work flexibly as part of the project team, managing your own time efficiently.
* Manage and supervise technical project teams, liaising with clients and contractors.
* Organise and coordinate Design Teams and sub‑contractors.
* Produce design deliverables, address technical queries, conduct site inspections, survey conditions, monitor delivery, and identify potential design changes impacting fees and programme.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
* Eligible member of a recognised professional institution (MCIAT/Chartered Architectural Technologist or equivalent).
* Understanding of Building Regulations and relevant technical design guidance.
* Proficiency in REVIT and Navisworks to achieve Level 2 BIM delivery.
* Ability to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
