Description
* Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.
* Monitor and control financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
* Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
* Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A solid background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
* Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or QBE/equivalent).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Experience in preparing financial reports and managing budgets.
