<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for a EHS Manager to provide EHS leadership to the site and to be accountable for directing EHS activities at the location. To establish EHS objectives and targets, internal reporting of EHS performance and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Supporting the implementation and operation of the Health, Safety and Environmental management system.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Risk assessments</li><li>Inspections</li><li>Incident investigations</li><li>Internal and external auditing</li><li>Lagging and leading metrics</li><li>Training and development</li><li>Employee engagement</li><li>Championing the safety culture at the site through coaching and influencing the leadership team to achieve external and internal standards</li><li>Leading continuous improvement in EHS through risk and environmental impact reduction at the site</li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining the site ISO certifications</li><li>Ensuring EHS metrics are reported accurately and on time</li><li>Ensuring regulatory compliance through regular reviews</li><li>Developing annual objectives and targets</li><li>Determining appropriate lagging and leading metrics to measure objectives and targets</li><li>Creating and facilitating EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees to achieve the annual objectives</li><li>Creating training matrices and ensuring all EHS training needs are defined and tracked to completion</li><li>Working with the site leadership team to ensure that all EHS operational controls are in place and are tracked</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)</li><li>IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management or working towards one</li><li>Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Effective oral, written and interpersonal skillsEffective team building skills and a demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all levels</li><li>Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and track those projects to completion</li></ul><h3>Leadership Attributes</h3><ul><li>Ethical</li><li>Passionate</li><li>Accountable</li><li>Learner</li><li>Transparent</li></ul><p>Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.</p><p>Ultra PCS is an equal opportunities employer that values diversity, inclusion, equity and equality.</p></div>
