The home supports individuals with complex physical and mental health needs within a safe, structured and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care. Chef – Bank £13.00 per hour Bank, zero hours contract Pension, paid DBS, uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As a Chef, this role plays an important part in daily life within the home, preparing fresh, nutritious meals that residents look forward to and enjoy. Working on a flexible bank basis, the role supports the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality, safety and service. Meals are prepared and served in line with residents’ dietary needs and preferences, ensuring consistency, balance and presentation. The role supports menu delivery, working with fresh ingredients to provide varied and nutritious meals. The position also contributes to the smooth running of the kitchen, including stock control, delivery checks and maintaining accurate records such as food temperatures. High standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety are maintained at all times to ensure a safe and well organised environment.
