This role is critical in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance within our manufacturing environment. The QA Technician will conduct quality assurance checks, audits, and verification activities to uphold industry standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct routine foreign body audits to ensure product safety and integrity, documenting actions and highlighting findings to operational and engineering teams. Perform real-time traceability checks to ensure full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Lead detailed investigations into customer complaints to ascertain root causes and deliver corrective actions. Manage calibration of scales, volumetric drops, probes, and externally calibrated metal weights to maintain measurement accuracy. Conduct routine and ad-hoc product quality evaluations, ensuring adherence to specifications. Verify labels and packaging compliance, ensuring correct version control and regulatory alignment. Audit production records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with food safety and quality management systems.
