What You’ll Do:
As Category Manager, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility for shaping how indirect services are sourced and managed across an expanding international business. Your day-to-day activities will involve:
* Developing and delivering comprehensive category strategies for key indirect services such as Corporate & Professional Services.
* Leading supplier negotiations with a focus on achieving optimal commercial outcomes while fostering long-term supplier relationship management and risk mitigation.
* Build strong collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders globally to align procurement initiatives with broader business objectives.
* Ensure compliance with legal and contractual frameworks.
* Create clear KPIs to track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across all indirect service categories.
* Champion the adoption of ERP and multi-site systems.
You will have the opportunity to work in the office 2-3 days per week and the remainder from home. Please note if you are looking for a remote role this won't be right for you.
What You Bring:
To excel as Category Manager – Indirect Services, your background should reflect substantial experience managing procurement activities within large-scale or multinational organisations.
* Experience in procurement within a global professional environment, ideally within pharmaceuticals.
* A proven track record leading indirect categories.
* Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
* Familiarity with ERP or multi-site systems.
* CIPS qualification is advantageous but not essential.
