Finance Business Partner (6-Month FTC)
Location: Oxford- 5 days per week on-site
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role will play a key part in delivering financial insight, supporting strategic decisions, and partnering with our Marketing and HR functions. You'll be based on-site 5 days a week, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, manage forecasting, and support business cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Performance Reporting
Review and analyse monthly results.
Collaborate with the Controllership team to identify required adjustments.
Deliver clear, action-oriented financial commentary to stakeholders.
Forecasting & Planning
Lead planning and forecasting cycles for assigned departments.
Ensure forecasts align with the annual operating plan and stakeholder expectations.
Highlight risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
Quarterly Commercial Reviews
Prepare and present key financials and performance insights.
Work with business leaders and senior management to drive commercial performance.
Business Case Support
Partner with stakeholders to build robust business cases.
Provide financial modelling, investment appraisal, and scenario analysis.
Project Financial Management
Track and manage project cashflows.
Identify financial risks and recommend actions to support successful delivery.
Business Partnering
Act as a strategic finance partner to Marketing and HR teams.
Build strong relationships to support data-driven decisions and add value
