Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Stockport (SK6)
Pay: £170-£240 per day, depending on pay scale
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Are you an SEN teacher looking for a new role? We are working with a PRU in Stockport to recruit an experienced teacher to join their team from after Easter. This is a full-time, long-term contract.
As part of their team, you'll work with enthusiastic learners who benefit from creative, flexible and relationship-focused teaching. Your role will be to help them access the curriculum, develop key skills and celebrate progress at every step of their learning journey.
We are looking for a SEN teacher who will:
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual learning needs and SEMH priorioties
Teach across a range of subjects - particuarly maths, English and life-skills - whilst adapting delivery to suit learners' needs and abilities
Build strong, trusting relationships with studentsWhat we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching SEMH or in specialist settings
Strong understanding of SEMH, SEN, and positive behaviour strategies
Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and pastoral care
Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potentialTo Be Eligible You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
