The Opportunity
As an English Tutor, you will work one-on-one or with small groups, supporting students from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4. Your guidance will focus on enhancing their skills in:
* Grammar, vocabulary, and writing techniques
* Reading comprehension and critical analysis
* Exam preparation and revision strategies
* Building learner confidence and motivation in a supportive environment
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from qualified teachers, recent graduates, or those with relevant experience working with young people. Key qualities include:
* Proven experience supporting students’ learning, whether in classrooms or through tuition
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, adaptable, and encouraging teaching style
* Eligibility to hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
