Commercial Catering Engineer - Havant
Pay: £47,603.00p/a

PPM are currently looking for an experience Commercial Catering Engineer in the Havant area to work for one of the biggest clients. The role will be made permanent after succesful 13 weeks probation period.
As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you'll work alongside a close-knit team covering various sites such as schools, community centres, and residential homes. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial gas and electric catering equipment across the Portsmouth City Council portfolio, including:
Responsibilities
* Diagnosing and repairing faults across a range of catering equipment
* Servicing and maintaining: Combi ovens (MKN, Rational, Convotherm), Range ovens (Falcon, Manitowoc), Steamers, Commercial fridges & freezers, Deep fat fryers, Blenders, Meat slicers, Bain maries/hot cupboards, Water coolers/boilers, Commercial dishwashers
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
* Reporting accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards
* Providing excellent customer service while working in occupied environments
* Being adaptable to various site requirements and customer expectations
* Completing required paperwork and compliance documentation accurately
What We Need from You:
* COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5 (essential)
* F-Gas Certification ( but not essential)
* Domestic gas qualification CKR1 (advantageous)
* Valid DBS check
* Full UK driving license (essential)
* Proven experience working independently in the field with strong diagnostic skills
* Good knowledge of relevant gas regulations and health & safety standards
* Comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders
* Ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage your own workload
