* Location: Lincoln, LN6
* Employment: Full time and Part time
* Salary: £12.31 per hour
* License: Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
Dimensions supports people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. We are looking for new team members in Lincoln who share our passion for person-centred support and making a difference.
What you will do
We have several opportunities available in Lincoln, with both full-time and part-time roles. You’ll be matched to one of our two supported living homes during the recruitment process, ensuring the best fit for both you and the people we support.
In one home, you could be supporting three gentlemen and one woman who are full of energy, love socialising, and enjoy a busy, varied lifestyle. In another, you might be working with two men and one woman who prefer a slightly quieter pace but still enjoy activities such as gardening, cinema trips, meals out, and time with family.
What unites all the people we support is their passion for living life to the fullest—whether that’s going swimming, enjoying music and crafts, planning holidays, or simply catching up with loved ones. Every day is different, and your support helps make those moments happen.
Responsibilities
This role involves helping with day-to-day routines including personal care (mostly minimal and observational), meal preparation, medication, and light housekeeping. More than that, you’ll be someone who listens, encourages, and supports each person to grow in confidence and independence.
Shifts are varied and are worked across a rota that includes earlies, lates, long days, and occasional waking nights. You’ll also work alternate weekends.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be organized, compassionate, and willing to take the lead when needed. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as supporting people to get out into the community is a big part of the job. If you have your own car and business insurance, that’s a bonus but not required.
