ROLE PURPOSE We are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our IT infrastructure and cloud services across the K3 Capital Group. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations & Cybersecurity Director to ensure our technology systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. As an all-round IT professional, you'll be responsible for managing our Microsoft 365 environment, Azure infrastructure, endpoint management through Intune, network systems, and broader IT infrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security policies within M365 Implement and maintain collaboration tools and workflows to enhance productivity Monitor service health and resolve M365-related incidents and service requests Stay current with M365 updates and new features, recommending improvements Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Management Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, networking, and PaaS services Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) including conditional access policies and identity governance Monitor Azure infrastructure performance, costs, and security posture Support cloud migration initiatives and hybrid cloud solutions Maintain Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions Endpoint Management (Intune) Deploy and manage devices through Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager Create and maintain configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployments Support Windows Autopilot provisioning and deployment Manage mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and policy application issues Network & Infrastructure Support and maintain on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructure Configure and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points Monitor network performance and implement improvements Manage VPNs, site-to-site connectivity, and remote access solutions Support VLAN configuration, DNS, DHCP, and other network services General IT Infrastructure & Support Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to end users Manage on-premises server infrastructure and virtualization platforms Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery procedures Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations Participate in IT projects and infrastructure upgrades Support cybersecurity initiatives including patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers Service Management Work within ITIL frameworks to ensure effective service delivery Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner Contribute to problem management and root cause analysis Participate in change management processes Support IT service continuity and availability ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Technical Skills Microsoft 365: Strong experience administering M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Azure: Proven experience with Azure infrastructure, Azure AD/Entra ID, virtual machines, networking, and security Intune: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager for device management Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and routing Windows Server: Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy Infrastructure: Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware), backup solutions, and storage systems Security: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and Microsoft security tools Professional Experience Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an IT infrastructure/engineering role Demonstrable experience supporting business-critical systems in a corporate environment Experience working in professional services, financial services, or fast-paced business environments is advantageous Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications Relevant IT qualifications (degree, HND, or equivalent) Microsoft certifications highly desirable (e.g., AZ-104, MS-900, MD-102, SC-300) Industry certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network/Security, or equivalent Personal Attributes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and business needs Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and other security solutions Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR) Experience with monitoring and alerting tools Understanding of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) Experience with telephony systems, Microsoft Teams Voice Knowledge of software deployment and patch management solutions Previous exposure to
