Business Support Officer | 12 Months (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (Edinburgh)
Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a Business Support Officer on a 12-month contract.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support for the organisation's corporate service requirements, including information gathering and management, document retention and reporting, general correspondence, and routine compliance and monitoring checks such as gathering carbon footprint data.
2. Administer the organisation's finance requirements, including creating and submitting purchase order requests and invoices, supporting electronic procurement card payments, checking invoices at risk, producing routine financial reports, and handling ad-hoc requests.
3. Assist with internal and external stakeholder management by coordinating meetings.
4. Provide administrative support to the CSC team to ensure timely and quality task delivery, maintaining knowledge of operational policies and procedures for compliance.
5. Offer ad-hoc administrative support to the wider Investigations, Compliance and Standards Team and the Strategy and Analysis team.
Key Skills
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus to work with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently, manage workloads, and pay attention to detail.
* Proactive approach with the initiative to develop solutions quickly when challenges arise.
