Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
* Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
* Provide menu recommendations and answer any queries regarding food and beverages.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and bar areas.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
* Assist with catering events as required, ensuring all guest needs are met.
* Uphold high standards of hospitality at all times, contributing to a positive dining experience.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is preferred.
* Bartending skills would be beneficial for those interested in beverage service.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work well under pressure.
