Package Manager
Our client, a global offshore wind developer, is seeking an experienced Package Manager to support a major floating offshore wind project. This is a key role within the project delivery team, responsible for managing critical infrastructure packages, with a particular focus on export and inter-array cables.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management of cable packages, including export and inter-array systems, from design through to installation and commissioning.
* Oversee contractor selection, tendering processes, and contract negotiations.
* Manage supplier performance to ensure delivery aligns with project schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
* Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of cable systems within the wider wind farm project.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with HSE and regulatory standards.
* Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on package progress, risks, and key milestones
* Support interface management across multiple workstreams within the floating wind development.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Package Manager within offshore wind or large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of export and inter-array cable systems.
* Demonstrated experience working on offshore wind farm developments (fixed or floating).
* Solid understanding of project lifecycle delivery, from FEED through execution.
* Experience managing complex contractor and supplier relationships.
* Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination abilities.
* Familiarity with UK offshore regulations and standards.
Contract Details
* 12-month contract based in Aberdeen.
* Engagement via limited company.
* Competitive day rate (dependent on experience).
