Operations Administrator

12 month fixed term contract
Salary: Up to £28,500 Depending on experience
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator to join our valued client based in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing and supportive team where your contribution will play a key role in the smooth running of the business.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Operations Team, assisting with day-to-day coordination, document management, and internal communication to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
* Diary management and administrative support for the Head of Operations
* Organising meetings, booking rooms, and arranging refreshments
* Managing invoices, raising purchase orders on SAP, and liaising with suppliers
* Overseeing general office tasks including filing, archiving, and stationary orders
* Maintaining digital filing systems and updating site notice boards
* Supporting audits and preparing relevant documentation
* Managing time and attendance records and the team holiday planner
* Acting as a communication link between corporate and site operations
* Handling incoming calls and general enquiries
To be a successful Operations Administrator, we’re looking for:
* Highly proficient in numeracy and literacy, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong organisational abilities
* Experience using SAP is highly advantageous
* Able to work on own initiative
* Confident in building strong working relationships at all levels
* Proven experience supporting a wide range of administrative duties in a dynamic and busy setting
