Are you a Land Graduate, Assistant Land Buyer or Land buyer looking to join a multi-award-winning privately owned housebuilder in the South Yorkshire Area?
Are you looking you looking for a luxury builder that currently flying in the market buying land?
You will be reporting directly to the Land director, but you will be working a large degree of autonomy once you have your feet under the table. You will be focusing on the land acquisition of mainly greenfield sites within the South Yorkshire and North Midlands region, in particular, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, and Lincolnshire.
You will also be working closely with the planning team when securing sites and progressing sites through the development pipeline.
You will be right for this role if you are a keen deal maker who is hungry to go out into the market and buy a lot of sites. It will also be perfect for someone ready to step up in the first 12-18 months ! All of which you will be doing while earning £35,-£40, along with other perks such as car allowance and full development and training pathway !
You will be working for a truly forward-thinking business and one that believes in the proper development and natural growth of its team. This means you will be given both training for your own progression.
You will have 1-3 years of industry experience and have worked for either a house builder, housing association, or development consultancy.
Responsibilities
1. Identifying Land opportunities in the South Yorkshire and North Midlands region.
2. Take lead and work on bid submissions
3. Lead and take ownership on legal agreements
4. Helping develop and progress the land strategy
5. Liaise and work with, landowners, stakeholders, local authorities, Housing associations, Homes England and solicitors.
6. Assist in achieving planning approvals
7. Maintaining a number of industry contacts in the south Yorkshire and North Midlands region
Key Requirements
8. Degree qualified (ideally property or construction-related)
9. 1-3 years of industry experience working for house builder, housing association or development consultancy
10. A proven track record of buying land in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
11. Understanding of managing developments through the planning application and appeal process.
12. Determined and driven individual who has the ability to make the step up to director level in short term.
