We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead that next chapter. Someone who thinks in positioning, turns customer insight into action, and combines strong brand judgement with commercial instinct. Someone who loves the kind of product–led creative business we’re building, and can work hand–in–hand with our small, high–calibre team to turn big plans into work and stories that land – growing communities, expanding the reach and relevance of the brand, and ultimately translating great marketing into meaningful business growth.
Head of Marketing role
You’ll lead a team spanning comms, social, CRM and content production. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director and Founder to shape the evolution of the brand, influence product strategy and ensure customer insight is embedded throughout the product development process – from early concept through to launch and long‑term positioning.
You’ll bring structure and strategic thinking to our NPD, ensuring we’re building the right products, for the right audiences, with the right positioning, pricing, channels and storytelling. Alongside this, you’ll install the planning rhythm that makes great work possible, and make sure every piece of customer–facing comms – from emails to social to campaigns to thoughtful touches within customer orders – earns its place creatively and commercially.
What you'll be doing
* Own brand positioning across channels and markets – what we stand for, who we’re for, and where we choose not to play.
* Leverage customer insight, market understanding and emerging category trends to help shape customer experience, NPD, positioning, messaging and launch strategy across priority segments and markets.
* Bring structure, rhythm and clarity to a fast‑moving, founder‑led environment.
* Lead marketing planning across launches, campaigns and always‑on activity, aligning multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
* Work closely with the founder and wider marketing team to lock down ideas, concepts and timelines well ahead of launch, with clear internal comms through to go‑live.
* Develop customer‑centric and insights‑led go‑to‑market strategies for new products, working closely with the wider team to bring launches to life.
* Lead cross‑functional execution to deliver launches with operational excellence.
* Define and prioritise marketing investment across global markets – with a clear focus on the UK and US while unlocking growth across a diverse international customer base.
* Identify and shape strategic partnerships, collaborations and brand opportunities that expand reach, strengthen positioning and connect Tom’s Studio with new audiences.
* Own the editorial bar across email, social and campaign comms – ensuring everything lands strategically and feels unmistakably Tom’s Studio.
* Lead and grow the marketing team – providing clear direction and creating an energising, inclusive and creative environment.
* Set and track marketing KPIs that drive the business forward and ladder to company goals.
* Monitor category and broader consumer trends, translating relevant insights into marketing opportunities, initiatives and recommendations across the business.
* Shape how the team evolves as the business grows.
You’ll be a great fit if you are
* An experienced marketer, having led multi‑disciplinary teams spanning brand strategy, comms, CRM, social content, insights, creative, and go‑to‑market execution
* Experienced building and scaling premium consumer brands, ideally within a DTC or founder‑led environment
* A strategic thinker who leads with positioning before tactics
* Commercially sharp and comfortable with numbers, margin and trade‑offs
* A strong writer with great editorial judgement, and an instinct for great storytelling
* Experienced working closely with founders or principal creatives
* Someone who genuinely enjoys leading people and bringing the best out of a team
* Calm, organised and able to hold many threads at once
* Comfortable pushing back constructively to protect good work
