We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality & Risk Manager to join our Governance Team at The Lister Hospital. This pivotal role will see you work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support the hospital in achieving and maintaining excellence in clinical governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. You'll ensure a consistent approach to CQC readiness, support hospital accreditation processes, and lead on the audit programme, incident management, and patient feedback (complaints and compliments).

Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Be familiar with the CQC inspection process. Work with the Corporate Governance and local Teams to ensure a standardised approach to CQC inspection compliance is maintained
* Manage our complaints process and replies to ensure appropriate handling and responsiveness at all times
* Lead in compliance to work towards achieving hospital accreditations
* Oversight of QI programme across the Hospital
* Share best practice across sites
* Facilitate internal communication with all stakeholders. To oversee and monitor the audit programme and ensure action plans are followed up
* To create and present reports to relevant Hospital committees. Participate in inter-hospital mock inspections. Act as hospital policy controller and oversee local policies
* Identify and analyse themes from incidents, complaints, and audits
* Manage incident reports and investigations, ensuring lessons are shared
* Maintain and oversee the Risk Register, ensuring entries are accurate, current, and reflective of emerging trends
Skills And Experience
* A Governance qualification or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of the governance and UK legislative framework
* Excellent working knowledge of a variety of IT systems - Excel, Meditech and Datix.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to analyse and critically appraise complex information
* Good communication skills to be able to work with and influence multiple stakeholders and support change process
* It would be advantageous if familiar with principles of change management and project management
* Flexible and innovative approach
* Significant experience in clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement.
