Finance Clerk

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £26,000 per year
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Clerk to join our clients busy finance team. This role will support sales ledger and credit control activities while managing purchase ledger processes and general finance duties.
Key Responsibilities

Raise sales invoices and credit notes
*
Allocate customer receipts and maintain accurate accounts
*
Support credit control and chase outstanding payments
*
Handle customer and supplier queries
*
Process supplier invoices and credit notes
*
Review supplier statement reconciliations
*
Prepare and process supplier payments
*
Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end processes
*
Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team
Candidate Requirements
*
Experience in sales ledger, purchase ledger, or finance administration
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*
Good communication and organisational skills
*
Confident using Excel and finance systems
*
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
