As a Cellar Supervisor, you will play a key operational role behind the scenes. You’ll maintain cellar organisation, support product quality, uphold compliance standards, and ensure beverage systems run smoothly throughout events.
While this role has no direct line management, it involves close coordination with bar teams and FOH management to keep operations running seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
Cellar Operations & Compliance
* Maintain cellar organisation to ARC Cellar Management standards
* Keep all storage areas clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety guidelines
* Ensure stock is accessible, rotated correctly, and safely stored
Stock Replenishment & Bar Support
* Replenish spirits, beer, wine, soft drinks, ice, and garnishes
* Keep bars stocked throughout service to support smooth operations
* Assist bartenders during busy periods to maintain service flow
Deliveries & Stock Control
* Receive, check, and store deliveries accurately
* Maintain precise stock records in line with ARC procedures
* Support stocktakes and monitor movement to minimise waste
Technical Cellar Duties
* Change kegs, post‑mix, and gas safely
* Carry out beer‑line cleaning and routine equipment maintenance
* Monitor draught systems and cellar equipment, reporting any issues promptly
* Help ensure consistent product quality across all bars
Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to streamline cellar operations
* Suggest ways to improve efficiency and service performance
What We’re Looking For
* Previous cellar or bar experience, ideally in a venue or live events setting
* Good understanding of draught systems, stock rotation, and beverage storage
* Experience handling deliveries and keeping accurate stock records
* Ability to work independently during busy event operations
* Basic IT skills, including Excel and Outlook
* Physically able to lift and move 16–25 kg safely

Working hours
This is a shift‑based role working evenings and weekends, normally from 5pm to 11pm, though some shifts can finish later and there are occasionally shifts during the day. You give your availability for the shifts you can work one month in advance. Once the monthly rota is confirmed you are expected to work those shifts. We ask that you are able to work regularly due to the nature of the role.
Where
You will be based at the venue in Olympia, West London. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends.
