Support Worker, Farnham (GU9)
Full and Part-Time Roles Available
Five gentlemen supported by Dimensions at their home in Farnham are looking for a new Support Worker to join their team, helping them to live independently.
The gentlemen, aged from their teens to 50s, are autistic and/or have learning disabilities. They are outgoing and would appreciate a full-time or part-time Support Worker who can engage in activities such as:
* Planning and going on holidays
* Visiting museums and places of interest
* Attending concerts at Prince's Hall and G Live
* Joining sports activities with the coach during bi-weekly sessions
* Enjoying drinks, meals, and pub lunches in Farnham
Family visits are important to them, and they often have visitors at home. Two of the gentlemen regularly visit their families. Communication varies among the men; some do not use words but communicate in other ways. No worries if you're unfamiliar with this; Dimensions provides full training for all Support Workers.
The role involves a mix of early (7:30-15:00) and late (14:30-22:00) shifts, including one sleep-in shift per week, which is paid at an allowance of £50 per shift.
Support tasks may include assistance with finances, meal preparation, and prompting or helping with personal care.
