The Transport Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of transportation activities, including the movement of machinery and equipment to and from various job sites. Key Responsibilit ies:Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance logs, and driver logs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company polic ies.Track data for the transport planning team, organising abnormal load notifications across th e UKAssist in monitoring inventory levels of machinery and equipment at various job sites, coordinating replenishment and relocation as nee ded.Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations, including safety standards, weight limits, and licensing requirements, to uphold the company's commitment to safety and regulatory complia nce.Identify and resolve transportation-related issues in a timely and efficient manner, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement effective soluti ons.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the transportation function, contributing to the overall optimization of logistics operati ons.Support the transport manager with administrative t asks Qualifications and Sk ills:Previous experience in transportation administration, logistics, or a related field is prefe rred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to de tail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakehol ders.Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices is desir able.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving min dset.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environ ment.Education: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
